The British media can never be accused of common sense. Great article, Mic. Wondered where you’d been. So sorry you’ve been in chronic pain; it’s the daily struggle that grinds you down. Give me short-lived acute pain any day.
Hope you're able to get the pain manageable Mic, the British Press needs you to keep them on their toes. Remember the Nepo baby map and how everyone reacted?
Looking forward to the book too.
Take it easy and congratulations to the Professor.
Excellent comment - as always. Still a strong contender for buffoonery of the decade is Camilla Tominey's 'Whisper it, but Rishi Sunak is making an extraordinary comeback. With Starmer floundering, Farage flailing and Ed Davey acting a fool, a Tory revival is now on the cards...' DT 31 May. The folk at the Telegraph must be kinder (or even more desperate) than I'd thought; she's still there.
So sorry to hear about your health issues, Mic. I have long covid so am in chronic pain and chronic fatigue, you have my deepest sympathies. Make sure you pace yourself well.
As for Labour, we will have to wait and see. However, the Tories had 14 years to bring the country to its knees so it will take a while to turn the ship around. The right-wing press can wail and cry wolf all they like. Doesn’t mean we have to take notice of them.

Yes, it’s like having the radio slightly out of tune all the time.
Long time reader, first time caller (not really).

Thank you.

All sympathy for your lousy condition...
Another brilliant column, thank you. Sorry to hear about your health issues and pain, hope you get it sorted soon. Best wishes
Thanks, Nina.
Nice one. Sorry to hear about your health issues. Take it steady!
Thanks, Peter.

My sympathies coming right back at you. And yes, let’s hope the new government ignores them too. I suspect they won’t.
