Unfortunately, I’ve had cause to trouble the oncology department of my local hospital during the last 18 months - big shout out to the team at Shooting Stars in Wrexham Maelor 🙌 - but, contrary to the daily media propaganda, I have experienced nothing but professionalism, humanity and, on quite a few occasions, laugh out loud humour.
The staff are the best of us and deserve so much more in terms of resources and reward.
Keep fighting on all fronts!

Don’t worry about haemochomotosis. I was diagnosed in my sixties. It’s genetic but entirely manageable by venesection (giving blood every few months.). Go easy on the venison and broccoli.
I really hope you get the diagnosis and the treatment you need asap so you can set the whole thing aside and get on with your life and consistently excellent work.
