Thorough skewering of Clarkson, Mic; he’s a posturing ninny, not particularly bright, but possessed of a certain type of low cunning. Cunning enough to know what his audience wants & cynically obliges by serving up dusty old pap. I wouldn’t call it journalism but then, most journalism today doesn’t do what it says on the tin. Much of what passes for journalism is just churnalism , recycled copy or just dressed-up lies. Thanks Mic; will post on X as usual.
Great piece Mic. Clarkson is fucking unbearable. His hypocrisy knows no bounds of course. Fine for him to talk about shooting strikers on the One Show or laugh about Gordon Brown's blindness (which, as Stewart Lee points out, in part led to the whole Hammond decapitation riff) but under no circumstances can jokes be made about stuff that be-Barboured bore is in favour of.
Nice one. Of course the only people who find Clarkson remotely relevant or funny are the fools who read his columns in the right wing press. And, sadly, they probably don’t subscribe to your ‘stack.

Thank you, Liz. “Cunning” is exactly the right word.

I never really 'got' Stewart Lee [I grew up on the not very subtle slapstick anarchy of the Young Ones etc] - but now I love him.
Just imagine how funny it will be for someone to have to explain to Jeremy how stupid he’s either being or pretending to be for money.
Sorry Mic but I find HIGNFY is still amusing. It sure makes a change from the Westminster psychodrama and the lobby turds feeding from it.
I don’t my opinion is holy writ, Den!
Saint Mic has a faintly fragrant ring to it :-)
Oh god no.
